Hi folks! I'm a semi-retired weatherman, a nature-lover, a free-thinker -- and a long-time Unitarian Universalist. Originally from rural south Georgia (Thomasville area), I've moved around a lot with my work in the federal government's "weather field," mainly in the southeastern US. Now in Summerville, SC (a Charleston suburb). Before this, I was in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and was a member of All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa. Although not currently involved in a UU congregation, I continue to be a booster of "freed religion," and (as Jackson Browne sang) am just a "...heathan and a pagan on the side of the rebel jesus." I moderate a network of online "UU groups" (at Beliefnet, Facebook, Gather, Google, Livejournal, and Yahoo) under the name "Faith of the Free," and a UU message board at... http://FaithoftheFree.informe.com. I've been married 35 years to my best friend Caroline, and share a house in suburbia with five ultraspoiled felines.
